2021 USGA Senior Men's Amateur Qualifier

In the 2021 USGA Senior Men’s Amateur Qualifier at Jug Mountain Ranch, Rick Lloyd from Sandy, Utah was our medalist to advance to the US Senior Men’s Amateur taking place in Detroit at Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich. Llyod earned his medalist position after competing in a sudden-death playoff against Steve Hartnett from Boise, Idaho. Both Llyod and Hartnett shot scores of 68 (-4) for the day. Llyod had an impressive 6 birdies for the day paired with two bogeys. Hartnett, on the other hand, had all pars and 4 birdies. Llyod won after the first hole of the playoff with a clutch birdie. Hartnett will be the first alternate for the Senior Men’s Amateur. Scott Vermeer from Boise, Idaho earned the second alternate slot with a score of 73 (+1).
