DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Beaux Yenchik
Beaux was born and raised in Salt Lake City and started playing golf at the age of 7. Having had aspirations of being a sports broadcaster, he attended what is now called Utah Tech University (formerly called Dixie State University) in St. George, Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in mass communication (media).
Beaux began working in golf at the age of 16 when he took a job at the Country Club of Salt Lake as a bag boy, which he did for five years—taking a two-year break in the middle to serve a mission for his church in London. While in school, Beaux covered DSU athletics—including men’s and women’s golf. After graduating in 2017, Beaux continued working as a golf club technician at Dicks Sporting Goods Store and was hired on as a freelance sports writer by the St. George News. He and his wife returned to the Salt Lake area in 2018, where he interned for the Utah Golf Association. MANAGER OF COURSE RATING AND FINANCE
Nicole Rutledge
Born and raised in Jerome, Nicole Rutledge started playing the game of golf at an early age. Her love for the sport came from her dad, who often took her and her siblings to play Jerome or Blue Lakes Country Club. At a younger age, she played competitively in Idaho Junior Golf Association events, now called the Idaho Junior Tour, and a year at the College of Idaho. Nicole did accounting for 23 years in the auto industry before joining the IGA—having spent time at both her dad’s dealership in Jerome and the Peterson Auto Group here in the Treasure Valley. She started her current position as Manager of Course Rating and Financing for the IGA in July of 2021.
Nicole and her husband, Brice, have a blended family with five children, a dog, a snake, and a chicken, Felicia, who took up residence inside the house after a traumatic run in with a cat. Nicole loves the outdoors and spends her free time hiking, golfing, camping, skiing, hunting and fishing.

JUNIOR GOLF ADMINISTRATOR
Chris Carew
Chris, a California native, has called the Treasure Valley home since the age of 8. Having grown up around the game of golf, Chris always knew his future path would somehow be intertwined with the sport. Starting at the age of 13, Chris has played competitive golf at nearly every level: the Idaho Junior Tour, high school (Eagle High School), college golf (California Baptist University, University of Idaho and College of Idaho - graduating with a bachelor’s degree in marketing), and as a professional. In the summer of 2020, Chris interned with the IGA as a USGA P.J. Boatwright and then worked part-time as the Southwest District Coordinator for the Junior Tour over the following two summers. Chris has also helped coach the men's and women’s golf teams at the College of Idaho.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend, Belén Montgomery. The two of them enjoy the outdoors, whether that be camping or hiking with their two dogs: Simba and Emma. When his brittle back allows, Chris also enjoys wincing his way around the golf course.

ADMINISTRATOR OF MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS
Shane René
Shane was born in Melbourne, Australia and likes to mention it, but it’s really not that interesting. He’s lived in Boise since he was five and sounds like it. Australia is, however, where he first picked up a plastic golf club at the age of two and he’s yet to put them down. Because baseball was the family sport, Shane grew up using the diamond as his primary competitive outlet — achieving a glorious peak at the 2010 Little League World Series regionals where he made an ESPN Top-10 appearance at No. 5 (beating out LeBron) — but found his way into competitive golf in middle school. After an outstandingly mediocre high school and junior career, Shane dropped golf to study journalism at DePaul University in Chicago where he spent four years ignoring classes to run the campus newspaper, covering Big East sports (mostly basketball), university finances, local politics, and penned columns about a variety of issues. After a break from school during Covid-19, he worked at Shadow Valley golf course and transferred to The College of Idaho where he played on the men’s golf team.
Shane lives in Boise where he plays as much golf as is physically and financially possible.
